[-] B737 MAX 7 in production, but ER version is not
« on: December 16, 2013, 05:57:30 AM »
Hi,
Maybe a bug or maybe my ignorance.

Asia Challenge:
The model Boeing 737 MAX 7 from the fleet group Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 is currently in production. But the model 737-700ER from the same fleet group is not.
Is this normal?

It launched in 2006, so by the time the MAX is in production it's likely that not enough airlines bought the 700ER and it was discontinued.

Yes, depending on settings the same fleet group does not mean alone anything, the whole NG line (or some models) can go out of production while MAX is in production. Can't remember the exact settings but shouldn't be a bug

Fair enough. Thanks.
