[-] Launch Discount not applied
« on: November 14, 2013, 12:09:32 PM »
I was the launch customer for the 757 in JA (lucky me) but the discount doesn't seem to have been applied- see attachment.

After I initially selected the number of frames / purchase agreement, I did change the deposit amount on some frames, but I did this before I actually submitted the order. I wonder if this was the problem.

Or maybe it has been applied to all the aircraft ordered?

Pic of the "quote" screen would have been needed, cannot check/see anything from this one.

Sorry can't do. It looks like I have recieved a 5% launch discount on all the frames. Lucky me... that's not correct though is it?

How'd you work out 5%?

From memory, 20% deposit = no discount, 40% deposit = 1%.

The price difference between the two planes shown in your screenie is 288,350. If that's 1% of the list price when you ordered, it'd be 28,835,000. If you ordered 40+ planes, you get the full volume discount of 20%, + 10% launch.

That'd mean your 20% deposit planes should cost 20,184,500. Yours cost 20,184,860.

That'd mean your 40% deposit planes should cost 19,896,160. Yours cost 19,896,510.

It looks spot on from the outside, apart from normal rounding errors. Think the list price was actually 28,835,520. That makes your purchase prices correct to the nearest $10.
