[ok] D-check done before it expired

I know lease renewals are attempted a day or two early, just in case of lack of cash. But is the same true for D-checks?

I was cutting it fine before manually terminating a lease. Replacement plane was getting delivered on the 3rd June, and D-check on the current plane also expired 3 June, so I was going to terminate the lease then. However, on the evening of June 2, the D-check was done at a cost of 1.17 million. That sucks quite a lot.

The plane in question is PH-ILK, msn #044 in JA.

It wasn't that I miscalculated the dates, I also have a starliner with C-check expiring on June 3, PH-SLK, msn #474, and that one is still flying until the end of today.

If I remember, D check is initiated automatically a day before it expires.

Ah well, I'll remember that for the future then.

Any reason it needs to be done a day early? Seems strange you can look at upcoming maintenance and see exactly when C-check will hit, but need to remember that D-check doesn't work the same way.

Adjusted now, it was due warnings and things but made changes to interface too.
