Once again I have to sadly come back to this topic, and make the following announcement:
Administration has issued a $60 million fine to Peacock Wings (alliance: Elite, airport: ZBAA) for slot hoarding.
The airline has opened routes to a nearby destination in dozens, thus being quickly able to occupy slots at the base airport, with the intention to later change these routes to their "proper" destinations.
This behaviour is directly forbidden in the game rules and has been made very clear in the past game worlds for example that it will not be tolerated. The routes in question with slots have been removed and a warning has been issued to the player together with a sizable fine for the airline.
Players are not allowed to create any sort of placeholder routes or utilize any such tactics in order to gain more slots what his current and immediate near future operation requires. In other words if you create a route with slots you must be able to place it to the schedule (= you must have an available aircraft for that or due for delivery in 3 weeks (listed in schedule)).
Please note that all rule violations will be published at the forums. Also any slot hogging rule violations will be under heavier airline money penalties right from the start ($60 mil in jet age is a huge sum).
