Dash 8 fleet commonality question...

Just wondering whether or not the Dash 8-Q400 and the earlier 8-100 to 300 go into the same family? Thinking of Fleet commonality.

They don't.

If you want to check, just go to aircraft-->compare aircraft, and look at them side by side. You can see the names of their fleet groups there.
