I know price is going to be more of an issue in this game so I'm watching them more carefully...
Has anyone else noticed that the initial prices when a flight is created seem to be a bit... 'wild'?
For example, I have a route SYD-CNS. When I created it the default price was around $208. I just went in to reset it (in advance of putting on a 10% increase) and the default has now dropped to $165 - a drop of around 21%.
So, I checked some other routes and my SYD-SIN is even worse! The default price when I created the flight was $779 and when I reset... $468 - a whopping 67% reduction.
Is there something else coming into play here that I've missed? How do we know what the "correct" prices should be? Trial and error? That would be good in a way - would make things more interesting and challenging. I know that prices do fluctuate but I've never noticed it being more than a few % at a time.
Has anyone else notice these price swings?
