Regarding Tu-204-100 and -120.
From what I've read the original Tu-204 was very short lived and was quickly replaced by Tu-204-100, as early as 1996 (and not in 2000s).

Ranges in the above paragraph seem to be off, on the same page UAC gives 204-100 4300km range for full payload and 4100km for 204-120.  According to Aviastar (http://www.aviastar-sp.ru/aviastar_en/aircraft/tu204_100.htm) it's 4200km (max payload) and 6800km with 12t payload @ max fuel. On different Aviastar page it's 4300 and 6800. (http://www.aviastar-sp.ru/aviastar_en/aircraft/tu204100/tu204100.htm). Ilyushin Finance gives it ranges of 3800 (max payload) and 7500 (full tanks).


Regarding Tu-214

Issue dates of type certificates:

Tu-204 - 29.12.1994 (page 1)
Tu-204-100 - November/December 1995 (pages 6-10)
Tu-204-120 - 15.07.1997 (page 30)
Tu-204-200 - 14.03.1997 (page 26) Production started much later than that naturally...

Minor adjustments have been made, the dates have never been off than few months (apart from -100 model which I moved a few years forward).
