Hi everyone

Just been looking through the thread entitled 'Sim City 5' and that turned my attention to another gaming blockbuster - Grand Theft Auto 5.

I saw the trailer for it on youtube back in December (for those of you who haven't seen it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkkoHAzjnUs ) and quite frankly in a year which is likely to pass me by, largely due to the Olympics and European Football Championships, I cannot wait!!

One slight thing though, the graphics which look to be mindblowing (the wind farm part of the trailer) and will likely push the PS3 to the limit. I've had mine for 4 years and its starting to lag abit, will i need a new one or just a system reset?

Also, what are your thoughts?? And what would you like to see?

Personally I would love to see more 'Vice City' style radio stations, best load of music in a game ever!!

Many Thanks,
Ben :)

Yeah, some more 80's would be cool for sure.

I'd quite like to see more of the character customization as in San Andreas, like getting fat and stuff. Maybe some other things like driving skills as well.

As a PC gamer, I just hope it isn't as terrible as GTA IV when it is released..

Beyond that, perhaps naively, I hope Rockstar just evolve it further..but less serious and more humour. GTA IV was a bit too serious for me..it had its moments, but overall the comedy elements from previous GTA's were kind of diluted.

Agreed!! For me GTA IV was great for the graphics and the choice of vehicles etc etc. However I found it very uniformed - every mission felt serious.

Would like a big enough game map to spend ages driving one side to the other. Tasks set from your gang association like spray painting and reclaiming land would again be great such as San Andreas. Made the game feel a lot longer to complete.

Apparently you now have to fill up the car with petrol every so often??

I am so against the big world.  I think that Vice City was the perfect size.

As much as I do enjoy a big expansive map, when you're spending 10 minutes to drive somewhere it gets a bit tedious. Perhaps a large map, but with a lot more focus areas to make it feel smaller on missions or between missions..at least give access to planes and parachutes again.
