Does it really make sense?

Hey everyone!

I am wondering if high density economy seat and standard economy seat has a lot difference? For instance if I change from standard do high density should I lower the fares? Or customers more likely to choose competitors standard density seats? Can I really compete within more than 1000NM routes with high density seats?

If you have no competition on routes, thenyou will see benefits of HD seating for routes under 2000nm.  If you have competition flying standard seating against your HD seating, you will not pull as high of a load as they will, but depending on the plane, competition and route, you might endup just as profitable at a lower load on HD seating than a higher load with regular...
