I have a pretty good size airline. I have 17,000,000 in cash, 48,000,000 available for an unsecured loan, and 44,000,000 available for my 737-400 as an asset. I have several more aircraft on order of which about 1/3 of them are direct purchase rather than leases.
A. Should I just leave it all alone and let deliveries progress? Save it all for a rainy day?
B. Go on a little spree and buy some more planes on direct purchase which I could do easily.
C. Borrow a bunch of money and open a 2nd hub, for which I really have no aircraft to move to. The aircraft I have are totally entrenched in operations at HQ. I would have to lease aircraft just for the sake leasing aircraft and the probabilities of finding commonality on the used market is low. I don't need 747's and I'm trying to ditch the couple of 707's I have as soon as the next 2 aircraft are delivered.
So....what would you do? Appreciate all suggestions!
P.S. Also going thru alot of c checks at the moment. What impact that may have, I don't know.
