Profit calculator

I was just thinking, how about a tool that can be used to calculate the profit of a certain plane on a certain route in theoretical conditions, eg.:
known factors:
Type, Fuel burn, Cruise speed, distance to be flown, theoretical required fuel (calculated by fuel consumption and cruise speed), commonality
Variables (which can be filled out):
LF, configuration, possibly CI and competition

I'd think a tool like this could be somewhat similar to a spreadsheet, and would be a welcome addition to your array of tools when deciding to open a new route or buy a new plane type.

You could actually do it manually. But it sounds like a difficult project.
