CEO Salary

How important is this ? because i just started my company.. is it wise to set this really low to save some money.
And if i change this will the HR manager be switched off ?
Why would you give yourself a big salary other than maybe the ranking of richest CEO ?

x2.  No, it doesn't swich off your HR.  One thing you have to remember is if you raise salaries manually, you have to go back and move yours down.

I've always felt that my employees put in extra effort because I'm willing to sleep in my office and not draw a paycheck!
