Is the Cleveland hospital so great or has such a good name that they come there??

Yes.  Very much so.  Rated as #3 hospital in all of the USA and #1 in many specialties.   Look up the Cleveland Clinic.

Half of India seems to come here to do their internships.

There are confirmed stories of Arab princes coming back and giving the doctors and nurses massive gems as tips for a job well done.   They reserve whole floors of the hotel.  I have heard of one who has a mansion here he uses only when he comes to town (my uncle, before he died did a ton of the stained glass work in his foyer)...    The only 747s at KCLE are them and Air Force One.  While the runway is long enough, there just ins't the demand here.

I think Lufthansa has a daily A346 from FRA, don't they?! (maybe I mess that up with another town though)

But you should be here long enough to know you don't only need the runway but also both: the capacity and the facilities. Meaning that if your baggage reclaim belt is too short to cover half a 747's baggage, if can't be done. If you have only passenger gates with single gangways it fails even harder, etc...

I am going to Hamburg in 8 Days (for 2 days), btw., of course ::) I go by plane (DUS-HAM).

I will make sure to get some decent shots at either of the airports and, of course ::) , I will upload the best ones here :)

Talking of Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel airport: Did you know it is the world's oldest airport still operational at its original site? Built in 1911 it was never relocated or whatever.

I look forward to seeing DenisG and you can look forward to new pictures from those airports :)

cheers,

You can await more :) I am leaving for a weekend trip to Hamburg tomorrow, of course by aircraft and of course by world's best airline: Lufthansa :) I will not have too much time in DUS though (will arrive their 10 minutes prior boarding, and the security check and that stuff, so more pictures from HAM I assume :) )
I am back Monday evening, so you should await the new photos by Tuesday evening :)

Austin my dear, A333 if Lufthansa ;) they don't have A332s anymore (not sure if they operated the at any point though but definitely not nowadays)

Having s***y weather here though... raining cats and dogs ::)
Not many pics taken yet but there is a return flight to come and I will spend a few hours in Hamburg before departure :) Alreday Caught United B752 (in new paint scheme) at HAM :)

:-[ I meant A333, my finger slipped without me realising it had done so.

I do know they had A332s, though - I remember seeing one at YYZ, actually. SO THERE. :P

I wasn't sure about the A332, but Wikipedia said in German and English variant that they were not used (would be under phased out aircraft then)...

I do find it pretty hard to actually decide which it is especially if a bit further away... I am never really sure about them. On the B777 it is easy to say if 772 or 773 same as A320 and A321... both times the bigger ones have a door more before the wing section.
