Good choice sir. All my metal 1:400s are GJs and I love them! Do note that they're pretty small. (average ± 12cm depending on the aircraft)

They may be little but I've got large (Revell 1:144 A320 (BMI), A380 (Lufthansa) and A300-600ST (WIP) so I don't mind.

It also cost me £9.50 (€10.82, $15.53) so against list prices I'm happy with it as a cash strapped student!

SkyMarks do the cheapest models, they are plastic and usually around 1:200 scale.

I love the model of the F-4 in Blue Angels livery... Beautiful! Until a few years ago I used to assemble plastic models from Tamyha: my fav one was the F-14D in 1:48 scale... I had to buy an airbrush because I couldn't risk to make a crappy painting job with a brush! In the end i put it on a small diorama resembling the deck of a CV... Sold it for 200€ to a FBO at BGY!

yea its a really nice model that one, its got many accessories like a ladder for the cockpit, landing gear, or you can change it for no landing gear,
