Fuel is cheap, its cheap, its bigger and has a longer range than other Western counterparts like the DC-8 and B707.

Taking into account that it needs a bevy (or whatever the collective noun for pilots is) of pilots and a few extra cabin crew can it be run economically in this time period?

It is a GREAT long-distance aircraft in low-price fuel environments, especially when other aircraft are unavailable.
