When you've talked to your girlfriend about your airline so much she starts to ask how your airline is whenever you are near a PC.  ;D
Happens every night :)

You waste several hours renumbering hundreds of routes in a more systematic fashion. This doesn't get your airline any money; it just looks nicer on the list of destinations and airlines page.
It was worth it. It looks so much better (and so much more realistic) now!

31 days, 17 hours and 6 minutes and I've been here since beta.

I'm really astonished that even though I joined a day after these websites were opened and participated in all the betas, I have 'only' 18 days, 1 hours and 25 minutes.
Though, I haven't participated in any post-beta game worlds except MT3 due to busy last year...

Just coming up on 1 year since I discovered this place, and total time spent online is 60 days 49 minutes.  :-[  Though in my defense I do tend to leave the webpage open whenever I'm sitting at a computer, and I work in front of one most days.

Scheduled a lot of non-existant digital airplanes that subsequently made billions of non-existand digital money to purchase more non-existant digital airplanes so you can schedule more non-existant digital airplanes......

When you try to book a a real world ticket between 2 cities and can't find a direct flight and yell BS because you can name 2 airlines in AWS that run that route non-stop!

Like London - Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane/Adelaide/Perth I fly the ALL (usually, just that I am not far enough in DotM yet :P ) I fly them all NONSTOP in a B772LR, why don't BA or Qantas fly it?!

raptorva

well the reason why routes like that aren't flown non-stop is because a) the passengers would get rather roudy after being crammed in a metal tube for that long and b) both airlines have made Singapore a hub of sorts (mostly Qantas) and stop there to pick up and drop off connecting passengers.

I fly quite often between Melbourne and Singapore on Qantas 744's (8 hours) and then switch to a Turkish Airlines (usually A343) for (12 hours) to Istanbul followed by a flight from Istanbul to Izmir on a B738 or A321 (1 hour). Let me say from experience that the stops in Singapore and Istanbul are most welcome. 4 hours hanging around Singapore Intl feels amazing, the ability to move freely wherever you want.

You have played too much AirwaySim when:

You sit in history class and ask your teacher why so many american presidents were named after big airports.
