Is there any advantage to having actual flights connect your two bases together?
For example, let's say I was based at JFK. I have done research and ATL has many routes and I want to set up a base there. However, the capacity from JFK-ATL is not large enough to support me adding flights between the two. (I none currently as well.)
Will there be any detriment to financial and other aspects of creating these two bases even though there are no flights between the two? I feel it won't make a big difference because passenger connections aren't modeled, but I want to be sure before even considering this move further.
