Pilots

I am having a Question regarding hired Pilots. I just ordered 3 new Planes which will be delivered over the next 3-4 month. Somehow it seems that I am already paying for the pilots which will not be working for another few few weeks/month.

What is the rule behind it? They should be hired when the Plane arrives or a couple of weeks before but not month. This will cost me a lot of money which I could have invested in additional planes. (I am surely not the richest CEO here  )

Is there a way around it?

The only way around it is to enable manual staff hiring, which can be done from the Airline Settings page.  This can get bothersome, though, for some people, because if you forget to hire staff your delays will skyrocket.
