putting planes into the desert

hi... I would like to see some options for future games... so, here some ideas...

1) putting planes into the desert -> if you don't want to fly them anymore and you don't want to make c-checks and so on, it should be possible to "disable" those planes... because, if I have a C-check 3 months before the lease ends and I don't want to extend it, so it wouldn't make sense... but sometimes you don't want (or you can't because you don't have money) terminate the lease earlier

2) more control over you planes... so, e.g. if I would like to give a plane to an airline of my alliance, it should be possible without going over the normal market

... ok, that's it for today... tomorrow I've additional ideas... for shure :-) ... I have them every day...

1>  You can essentially do this now by simply not flying them.  You do not have to do any Checks on a plane you're not flying.  If you're trying to avoid the Commonality hit, simply put them up for sale on the market (even at a really high price if you don't particularly want to sell), as planes For Sale are removed from your commonality expenses.

2>  You're never going to be able to give planes to Alliance partners.  It's been asked many, many times.  It'll never be allowed.  For one it virtually never happens in real-life, Alliances just aren't that close.  But the main reason is that it simply offers up an extraordinarily unfair advantage to other players who choose not to be in an Alliance, by essentially allowing those with rich allies to get unlimited aircraft deliveries.  Even if pricing and unit limits were enforced, it still allows them access to a different market of aircraft than what is available to everyone else -- that's why we have the open, better-check-the-market-all-the-time method that we do now, because, if nothing else, it's extremely fair.  Everyone has equal opportunity (if not time) to get the exact same planes as everyone else.

for point 2... ok, but to be honest... the alliances are so... worthless in this game... don't you think? ... it should be somehow improved... and when I think about alliances (early ones) like KSSU ... they decided together to buy planes, so they got bether prices and were able to work together for spares and so on...

The alliances thing is on the to-do list for some future version, and is has been there for quite some time. It's not really a basic feature like the aircraft ordering system.

Also, there is a special department in the forums for suggestions: https://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/board,4.0.html

In previous versions where multi-legs were allowed, alliances were a powerful tool when it came to eliminate a competitor. Now i must agree with you, alliances are completely worthless gamewise, although they are a nice place for you to meet other players. That's why i still join.
