Fleet Commonality and Second Base

Hi all!

I know, there is still a long way to go until one can reasonably think about opening a second base. However, I have one question:

the manual says that commonaility costs are modelled to be 15% higher at additional bases.

However, it remains unclear whether these costs are calculated separately from commonaility costs at the initial base. Are the fleets treated completely indepenedently or do you have to keep in mind the aircraft types of the initial fleet when building a fleet at the second base?

many thanks

The bases are not independet from others in this sense. If you have one fleet at one base and other at second base, it would be same as having two fleets as the first base only (with that additional 15% off also). Because it's been thought that a company does still manage all these trainigns, spares, management etc centrally from HQ and does not create coplete and full organizations to each base.
