I hope you don't fly the 777 or 787 then
At least with B you have the power of CHOICE
True but not in 20 years time. Then people who refuse to fly FBW will have to swim the Atlantic. It's the way forward military planes have been using it safely since 4th generation.
Obviously that's the way it's gonna be... But kudos for Boeing nevertheless, "I like yoke".
Airbus "dinner table" = epic win!
What the heck shall that mean?!
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Windjet/Airbus-A320-232/1615729/M/ B737 doesn't have those tables for pilots.
almost a whole page of posts without one demotivator. I am saddened by this.
I never like the 787 ( I know, that there are many people here wanting to flame me for that)...and I am surprised, that 777 already has this... thought it was a too old system (B772 was thrown to the market 1993)anyways... yet B777 has significantly less crashes/hull losses than A320-family!Can't even compare the two aircrafts. The A320 has been in service quite a lot longer than the B777. More A320's are flying around compared to B777. As Take off and landings ( including approach) are the critical phases of flights it just makes your statement even more ridiculous. Obviously a short haul aircraft will have spent more time in these phases compared to a long haul aircraft. they are both very good aircrafts. There is a reason for the A320 being the most successful narrowbody aircraft in the world. Outselling any other aircraft, compared to how long it has been on the market. There is a reason the B777 was selling so well and the airliners appear to love the aircraft.
