What am I paying for? I'm doing their job all the time! These "overpaid" lazy bugs are doing nothing. They never tell me anything which I do not know by myself. But I'm convinced that if I sack them all, my company will be heavily punished so I don't want to try that.

They calculate the figures that you see when you open the route planning / info windows. Without them you'd see no demand / supply data at all.

There's an idea for a 'different' style game...completely randomize airports size/demand and provide no route data concerning demand. Can't tell when a route has its demand fully met until the LF's start dropping. A game of reacting to data as it's gained rather then pre-plotting flights vs demand.

hmmm might be easier to just make a fictional map than to randomize all the current data.
