Even better idea Swiftus, That sounds good, Only the largest major airports in the world. year 2000-2020, 10 million to start no loans. Only boeing and Airbus aircraft. BOOOYAA!!! 8)

That's a bit too restrictive in my opinion. There's no room for varying strategy.

No, you've got to have IL aircraft if they are still available.  Some people may want to experiment with them.

But, I'd pull the game back a period.  Throw it out there when the Tri Star, DC10, 741-2, A300 start to hit the street.  Many planes to choose from.

Yes actually... a modern age North American Challenge would be good. The previous North American challenge game was a little too hard due to the era so many weren't interested.

A North American game with say a max of 100-150 players, similar to the Euro Challenge would interest me a lot as I have not played the US much.

It would be much more of an interest to me than a worldwide game with only 80 or so destination spread around the world for everyone to fight over. Slots would run out way too fast too.

Just my opinion and preference of course, I'm happy to hear other suggestions.

sorry count me out of a 100 player NA game.

maybe we cut it BACK down to 30-50 players?

It's been many weeks, I would even say months, since I was last on AirwaySim. That is, before I started my airline a couple days ago. I'm so glad to be back. It's something that gets my mind off homework and assignments and parents - and I can still get my brain thinking. The best site EVER!!
I am so interested to do something of the previous suggested game world. The: 30 to 40 players, North America (or was it USA?), only Airbus and Boeing =D, no loans, 10 million starting money, one airline per airport. Making it somewhat easy, but difficult at the same time. = my type of game.

I agree with the above except NOT USA only.  We did that game and it wasnt fun.

Why not just have the biggest of the big planes?

So, my final vote:

1.  Era 1973-1985 (Tri Stars, DC10s, A300s, 747s, IL86s )
2.  30-50 players
3.  70-90 total airports around the world
4.  Largest planes only.  Nothing under 100pax available.

to add to/edit that:

1. 1980-2010 (so we get those L1011s, DC10s, classic 747s, A300s, Il86s etc. but we also get into the NG aircraft like 787, A340-600 etc.)
2. same, 30-50 players
3. same, 60-100 airports around the world, ONE PLAYER PER BASE AIRPORT
4. Largest planes only. Nothing under 100pax available (100pax in STANDARD config, we should be able to fly A318s or B736s in a 68pax config if needed....)
5. Multi-hub feature should be available! again, no two people at one hub. makes it easier to control. (not that it should be a problem anyway as each person could have around 2 hubs, and both being large so it should work)

*multi-hubs should be in your base country ONLY, if you're based in Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands etc, tough luck for you as you do have enough demand as it is.....
