[-] flight numbers
« on: September 01, 2008, 05:13:17 PM »
The system prompts "flight number already in use" when we try to schedule flights of similar timing again to a different aircraft. Eg, 246 ops, now we schedule similar timings for 357 ops... Airlines dun change their flight numbers when its a different aircraft....

Would it be possible to prompt but allows us to use the similar flight number should we choose to go ahead?

You cannot use the same flight number if it's been assigned to another route. = you need to delete the old route first.

What about routes with the same timing, same sector, just that perhaps I would like to use for example, A320 on 3 days and B777 for rest of the week? So for similiar flight sectors n timings i would require 2 flight numbers instead of being able to use 1.
