[-] AirwaySim-Dictionary?
« on: July 18, 2007, 12:39:14 PM »
So, I suppose this game is mainly for those, who have been working or spending time with aircrafts and flying in simulators or real world, but I'm sure the game will also get interest from other people.

Therefore I was thinking of a dictionary, or a sticky post, where could be explanations for words or things in the game. These could be words like MTOW and A,B,C,D-checks, which I am sure not everyone is familiar with. The checks were explained in one of Sami's reply, but as the Forum gets more posts, that reply may 'disappear' under other posts.

Or in other words - a manual for the game  :)

Wiki!! WIKI!!! wikiwikiwikiwiki!!!

Btw, I have to say, Sami has documented the game quite well. Inside the game pages (there are a few major ones, like Office, Aircraft and Routes) there are good explanations of the game and how it works. For example the different maintenances are explained on the Aircraft main page.

Ok, those I haven't seen, so then the manual isn't needed. The main thing is everyone -whether they know airplane/flying -related words already or not- understands how the game works

P.S. I think that when writing a post the "Preview"-function does not work. It just says "Fetching preview..."
