Hey all,

I just wanted to point out that in Jet Age#2, the Airbus A300B4-220FF has been certified twice on the 12th of December and also been launched twice on the 12th of December...there is something wrong there isn't there? I'm not being silly or anything? Am I?
 Just thought I should point it out.

Look for the launch date and certification date in the first URL.

And look how excited someone was about this plane that they reported it twice in each subject!

I just realised that they're two different aircraft, but I want to ask why they were announced to end straight after they were certified. Did that actually happen?

Remember that FF means forward facing.  In many cases, the same exact aircraft is used as the previous model.  The only major change was the elimination of the flight engineer.

Look at the second link.  You will notice that the A300 (aside from the 600 variant) has no engine variants.  Each different variant, in these cases, was simply a different engine under the wing.  The plane itself was the same.

I posted this earlier when it occured in JA#1.

According to Sami, they shouldn't have had the same Cert/Launch dates, but, yes, the Ending dates were correct.  Apparently they only offered the model for sale for less than a year before pulling it, so, our system here would announce the pending removal right afterwards, yeah.
