Boeing 717

I just happened to notice this and maybe someone can shed some light on this. Why does the 717 require 2 pilots and 4 crew when all the planes similar size and even slightly larger only require 2 pilots and 3 crew. All the MD-80s, DC-9s and Boeing 737s require 2pilots 3 crew so is it a mistake that the 717 needs 4 crew when it is smaller than all those planes? Does anyone know how many F/As Airtran or Midwest use on thier 717s? Thanks

Don't know about Midwest, but Airtran uses 2/3.  Even Delta uses 2/3 on their MD-88s which are bigger, so I guess the 717 really should be 2/3.

I've forgotten that as it was not in bug reports.. It's updated to the master database for next games now.
