Since it´s decided to reflect RW political situations more drastically into game mechanics, I would like to bring up a wish for a more realistic reflection of the situation in Berlin from the beginning of game time to 1990. Right now every German airline is allowed to open a base there. In RL that was impossible, because only airlines of the three WWII-allies USA, UK and France were allowed to serve the two West-Berlin airports through three air-corridors over GDR territory.No destination in the socialist part of the world could be served from there. (With exeption of the polish aircrafts being kidnapped to land occasionally in Tempelhof ,"LOT".) So Berlin should be treated as a "colony" of each of those countries.Additionally no airline of any other country should be allowed to serve West-Berlin.
By unification of the two Germanies the allied bases were closed , German airlines took over and at the same time were allowed to serve Schönefeld (East-Berlin,GDR),too. The airline that was serving it until then was also unrestricted by that date. (But collapsed soon afterwards).
Would be nice to see it worked in that new CBD-model.
