Blue Star Alliance 1995 rebirth!
« on: April 19, 2009, 04:36:49 PM »
One of the great alliances in the history of AirwaySim is set to make it's re-appearance in the 1990's.

The Star Alliance has consistently been one of the largest in AirwaySim, originating from the beta games, it has been in almost every game since, and now the Alliance founder (Talentz) has given the green light for its creation in the Air Travel Boom.

I will be leading the initial recruitment phase of the alliance, however I am looking for experienced star alliance players to join me in the ranks of the management once it has been set-up in game. BUT, we are not only looking for older alliance members, we are also looking for newer members (no matter the experience level) to join our ranks. Blue Star Alliance can offer you help for your airline as well as the potential for unbeatable deals in the alliance market place.

If you would like the chance to join the most prestigious alliance in AirwaySim please post below with your Airline Name, Location, brief description of where you fly and whether or not you have been a member of a previous Star Alliance.

Remember to get your applications in quick! Because we are unlikely to be able to accept two players from the same location!

I'll kick start the topic:

My Name's Dan, my airline is Portugese Falcon, based in Lisbon. We fly A320 series aircraft to short-haul european destinations. I have been in the Star Alliance twice before: Beta Game 2 & Welcome to AirwaySim 1.

Ok? So Hurry up and get those applications in!  :)

Dan.

Hi my name is Filippo.

My airline is "Air Barbados", based in Grantley Adams International (BGI). We fly long-haul destinations with mainly DC10 aircraft. I am also planning to add a short haul network later on. I have been in green star alliance in game world 3.

Thanks for the replies everyone.  :)

I have accepted all applicants so far. Your names should be on the new list in the first post.

We are still looking for more members pretty much everywhere, but we certainly need more in Europe! And also Middle East, South America and Australasia are so far unnacounted for.

Talentz, If you like we can change the name to Green Star Alliance or some other colour.

Dan.

I'd like to join. Royal Air Singapore out of SIN. I'm going to be an exclusively long-haul carrier in line with Emirates. I'm running DC-10s right now with plans to transition to 777s in the future. I've been accepted into the Blue Star Alliance for The Jet Age game.

If you would like to get in contact with Vision Airline and come to some sort of co-operation agreement, I think it would be ok to have you both. Seeing as one runs long-haul and one runs short-haul at the moment, I see no immediate problem with that.

Well true we started in as one. Before my time, actually.

But we have different opinions and goals I guess you could say. We each went our down different paths.

I know it confuses people because for this game, were Blue Star Alliance.

In anycase, were Star Alliance non the less!
