In a shocking turn of events EU Jet has decided to cancel their entire deal with the Fokker company for 15 new MK-500 aircraft's.
In response to the news, the airline CEO stated that the Fokker company couldn't deliver the planes as scheduled, and have thus decided to break the contract.
EU Jet also announced that they have instead opted to order the McDonnell Douglas DC-9-21 with first delivery in just under 4 months.
The McDonnell Douglas DC-9-21 is a jet plane with the capacity of 75 passengers, although EU Jet will be flying it in a 52 passenger configuration, giving the passengers more recline and wider seats.
This aircraft type makes it easier for the airline to fly to both small and big airports around Europe, and the company are offering 40% off the first 5000 seats with the aircraft type.
