JetEasy today launched it's fully owned subsidiary airline "JetExpress" that will operate regional routes from the airline's hub at Amman Queen Alia Airport. "At JetEasy, we understand that convenience and service are on the top of our passengers' priority list. By launching JetExpress we now offer even more convenient connections in the region in addition to our worldwide network. This allows passengers to travel to Amman from anywhere in the world to connect onto our regional network." said Tomnieuw, CEO and President of JetEasy.
JetEasy continues to expand services by adding additional Airbus A310 and Boeing 737 aircraft to it's fleet. JetExpress operates a fleet of Fokker 27 aircraft under the JetEasy brand, with JetEasy flight numbers and onboard service. The airline plans on operating up to 50 Fokkers by the end of the year 2000. JetEasy and JetExpress are part of the newly formed JetAirlines Group®. The company is now trading on the New York Stock Exchange as JAG and has a value of close to 500 million USD.
