[ok] Seat blocking not working
« on: October 05, 2016, 02:01:02 PM »
Looks like the field has moved to a different place.

The value entered seems to be ignored and no seats are blocked.

The movement of this item also really kills my fleet transition routine as I would use that text box to trigger the enter key - my workflow was -

1. Change fleet type
2. Click seat restriction box
3. Press enter on keyboard as the mouse moves to close the window
4. ...
5. Profit

Moving the box to the bottom of the screen will cost me a LOT of time... and given the CEO pay problems as of late, well, I'm going to have to file a complaint with the department of labor.

Logic behind the change:

(with other fields coming there too)

The field close to the top was very convenient as schro mentioned, even if no restriction was entered (by clicking it and pressing enter to submit)

Side Note: I am wondering if there is any way to trigger "Submit" by pressing Enter universally on Open / Edit route.  It works by clicking (setting focus) on one of the text boxes and even by clicking in general area of the "panel" where days of week are entered.  It would be nice if the page somehow started with focus on a convenient field or panel so that Enter would work right away, without having to click anywhere.

Side Note 2: I think the Enter to Submit somehow works in Opera browser (IIRC) but not in any of the more popular browsers (Chrome, IE, Edge).

enter to submit is added there (globally, no focus needed)

You just changed it?

I tried it and it seems to work!!!

Bless you Sami  :)
I think this is going to make a lot of players very happy.

PS: the seat blocking also works now.

Under some circumstances, Enter now works but there are some cases where it does not.  I will try to test this some more.
