CAPITOL express  - Celebrating 7 Years service

CAPITOL express announced today it has repainted its entire fleet of Embraer 120’s in a special MODERN Alliance livery to celebrate its 7 year anniversary.

In the past 7 years, we have expanded our network from our humble beginnings at the Nations Capital of Canberra, to include Melbourne Avalon & Newcastle Williamtown as secondary bases. In the coming months we plan to announce a 4th base in which we are currently in negotiations with 3 possible Airports.

CAPITOL express is by far Australia’s largest regional airline, operating almost 100 regional turboprop aircraft and we currently have on order 30 Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft direct from the manufacturer, plus another 20+ aircraft from our MODERN alliance partner HWaerolines.

All our aircraft a fitted with our “Economy Plus” seating, which offer a generous amount of legroom and all services offer a complimentary Food & Beverage service.

We offer our customers the very best in frequency on all routes with CAPITOL express commanding an overwhelming market share on most of its network.

Company Statistics -

Average Load Factor over 81%

Departure punctuality over 93%

Over 3150 flights per week

49 airports served from 3 bases

We'd like to thank all our valued customers and the continued support from our MODERN Alliance partners.
