Now that the 777-200LR is rolling off the production line, who claims they have the longest flight in the world?

My longest flight: 9641nm BKK-BOG

It's interesting to take a look of profitability. Can you share it?

very profitable. over $400,000 in profit. Aircraft are profitable as well as long as you own them. Not near as profitable if leased. Depends heavily on premium cabin.

Is that for a single round trip or for the entire plane for a week?

Sounds like it will be the routes weekly profit

Highly doubtful as there is not an interface in the game that displays that information

The longest I could do is 9871nm. Maybe I'll have that flight somewhere at the end of the game.

Single round trip

It's not that bad, but it's not excellent either. It means 1.2 M$ of weekly income before you pay for the lease/depreciation, salaries, and other things like that. IIRC, when I played very long range(Glasgow-Australia, mainly), most of my 777-8X were doing around 1.5/2M$ per week after depreciation. And it was not much for the cost(around 500M$ each). For such a plane, you shall also count a few 100s of k$ in personal costs. So you're probably actually in the green, but not as much as you seem to think.

I had a flight to Auckland(9668NM) that was not really making money, And I'm pretty sure I was losing money on the road to Christchurch(10048NM). IIRC, I had to rely on 777-200LR there, even the 777-8X was too short-legged here. And the -200LR is not as good in the 2020s.

Yeah... 3x 400k round trips for one plane is not exactly a money printer, especially after all staffing and indirect costs are applied. It would be a loss for a leased plane, maybe a bit better than breakeven with lowish fuel prices with ownership

Where is that from and to?

Miami (KMIA) - Perth(YPPH), with a demand of about 650pax
