[ok] Twitter reads the news before the game
« on: June 07, 2016, 12:34:05 AM »
So, the twitter piped up about 20 minutes ago with news of a US rail strike in GW3. However, it was not posted by the ingame announcement system for 20 minutes. You'd think that the horse's mouth would get the memo before the twitter bug....

North America Challenge had a "General strike in United States" event:

- Game timestamp for event is "Mon, 19 Dec 2011 00:00:00 GMT", and other date stamp is "19-Dec-2011" shown at game interface. (This is when the event is activated.)

- Twitter news was posted on "Wed, 22 Jun 2016 16:58:34 GMT". (it's posted on the midday calculation sequence for events that have activated on past midnight)

- 19-Dec-2011 started on "22.06.16, 16:48:51" and ended on "22.06.16, 17:08:48".

...so looks to be in order to me from the logs. But will do another test soon.

Yea, tested there and found indeed the error. It should appear now again properly at the day change.
