After two decades of serving Toronto Pearson Int'l Airport, Canadair once is again advising its competitor at YYZ that it's here to stay.
Over the years, Canadair urged restraint so all 7 airlines that operated in 1960 at the airport can prosper, seeing that YYZ is a top world airport with plenty of demand. One by one they all fell, while only Canadair and TCA remain.
"Over the last two decades TCA has tried to over-run us from YYZ. They are presently operating on many routes two flights for every one flight we operate to European destinations, yet Canadair continues to outperform TCA on a route market share percentage per flight metric. We are once again calling on TCA to simply meet demand - this way both TCA and Canadair will continue to operate profitably well into the 21st century"
