Carnage in the States
« on: April 03, 2016, 06:29:30 AM »
So not only is there currently a bird flu outbreak, now people have a fear of flying at the same time :O Maybe this will break a few airlines which are barely treading water :D

don't complain : it could have happened the 12th & 13th of september 2001.....

And I like it : its a good training for harsh times awaiting us, playing the US market.

Double overlapping events seem like a bug. I'm thinking demand is not being displayed correctly for both events... This should clear out the game world pretty quick

Sami to himself... "What I'd really like to do is have a game where it costs x amount of money to play. Then I want to create several events within the game that bankrupt the operator as early as possible so I can no longer collect that money.

Seems a bit backwards to me but whatever!

As a lesson in aws history, that happened maybe 5 years ago in a regional challenge type game that I did not play in. It had a massive fuel spike that cleaned out the whole game world. Fuel has not returned to that level in any game world since....

I was not happy to wake up to the news that the US was facing double events impacting passenger traffic. Am I really paying for this?  >:(

Double events seems excessive to me, imho.

My load factors went from 76 to 56 in the first week of this event some routes are showing 40-50% reduction of demand...

I know I can weather it but man it's gotta be hurting some

Transported 105k the week before the double event, transported an average of 75k over the past 3 weeks! Thats a huge drop haha

In GW2 I'm barely above 50% LF and managing (barely) in a very crowded airport. I for one, welcome more realism, even if it means restarting again.

Don't know, just a few dead. Many were already dying. Competition is not tough enough yet to make full damage. Just lost 25%LF for 3 weeks. My opponent in Detroit, less, he has a lower CI, I don't know if there is a link. But anyways, if you don't survive that, it means you were doomed anyways.

And yes, the display was not clear. I'm not sure it deserves a bug report, though.
