[ok] Fuel price predicted to decrease all the time
« on: February 23, 2016, 08:58:19 PM »
In the current game world 2 my staff has since the start predicted for the fuel price to go down.

Staff numbers have been at 100% at all times.

Not very iPad savvy, so for the life of me couldn't get a screenshot (under 200kb) to be included here.

The fuel will decrease a bit in january so that's correct.. The chart/prediction accuracy is however only 83%. ...--> does not look too strange in my mind.

OK, I've just never seen it like this before. Every single time I've taken a glance at the prediction, it's been predicted to go decrease very sharply.

It's always been pretty much useless. But this game takes the cake in its complete failure. Since day one, the "high" estimate has always pointed down sharply. The overall trend of fuel has been up, despite the predictor's insistence every single day that "gas will absolutely be cheaper tomorrow".

I have to say that the fuel char has cost me millions already this game. I had an initial hedge at $24, could have renewed at $33 but the predictor said sharp down with a $24 high prediction in 12 months, would have then renewed at about $42 in 1962, but of course predictor pointing down, 63 would have been about $50, but you guessed it, predictor pointing sharply down.

Didn't take the custom inflation levels into account, fixed.

Tricky one. I never noticed, as I only play recent eras.
