LF drop across airlines
« on: February 10, 2016, 08:45:39 PM »
Hi.  A number of my alliance members are noticing that their LF and total pax numbers have been dropping over the last few game weeks.  There is no recent event to case this, and I believe the total passenger demand on a number of routes has abruptly fallen.  It also doesn't seem to be limited to a region of the world.

Can anyone else validate if this is normal behavior?

September 11, 2001 effect. It's not modeled as an event, but rather a demand change. Those in the US will be hardest hit. Expect demand to drop through October and then take a while to recover.

Good luck making rent!

Thanks.  Wish it listed it as a world event.

My passenger numbers have tumbled in past few weeks in China. Glad it is not solely my area.

Does my nut in, every game world having to block out seats on loads of routes then after 6/12 months reversing it all again. Such a waste of time.

Now bird flu has crippled my demand even more. I went from 85% economy levels to 69%.
