[-] Extraordinary delivery rate
« on: February 03, 2016, 04:35:13 PM »
Hi,

In CTP I have 53 outstanding orders for the A380, of which 12 are due in december 2021!
Why on earth is the production rate decreasing in Feb-2019? The order book is completely full, not a single free slot.
If others have this problem as well, the production rate will be over 30 or 40 in December.

Also in the production list it says I only have 43 on order, and two delivery slots in Dec-2021...

Kind regards,

NC

I have seen this when the game world is ending.  Is that the case?

The game ends in 2021 yes

It's just a side effect of production line contractions.  In real world, the show goes on.  In AWS, the world ends on certain day, and players are not ordering aircraft at, near, or past the end of the world.  So the production line contracts, orders are pushed out, and a bunch the last ones may end up arriving on being delivered one after another in last few days of the game world.

It's probably not a high priority for fixing, for adding a special case where the production line should not contract (near the end of the game world).

The high compression of the production is normal at the end of the game - it tries to deliver everything before the game ends.

it's a little sad we cannot order for the future, but that's just candy. Not a big miss.

Well, it is normal because that's what the code tells it to do, however, it is also a bug that was previously "fixed".
