C class only
« on: December 24, 2015, 08:05:13 PM »
Hi everyone,

merry christmas!

Question, I made a mistake and leased a 757-200 with only a 2000NM range which
is not enough to get across the pond.

So I converted the aircraft an all C-class and put it on a route with high C demand,
however I have 0 pax on those flights while my other routes started off with about
25% LF in C...

Any ideas why this is?

thanks!

Those kind of configurations are heavy penalized by the game in order to avoid players to exploit it.

All C flights will only (maybe) work if your Company Image is really high, there's no competition on the route, and the C demand is very high (LHR). Otherwise, you'll be heavy penalized.

You also have the "too small for the route" penalty for crossing the atlantic with the 757, so both penalties may add up and you are getting those 0% LFs.

I'd put that 757 in your short haul routes.

At this stage a combination of low CI and RI is probably the culprit.
Should be better as these increase.

I actually think the ramp up time of RI is ridiculously slow, especially for a startup airline...

Cheers and happy holidays,

Hi,

Try to fly Rome with the aircraft.

They will only marginally work if you have RI + CI at 100. Normally, premium loads will start to fill when the normal economy class in the plane is more than 50% of the total seating.

For more info, please search "Magic Carpet" in the forum. It clearly explains your current dilemma.
