a fourth fleet type-added cost
« on: December 16, 2015, 07:40:45 PM »
Hi just started to phase out some DC 9-10/32 so I needed to add
a fourth fleet tpye but it doesn't make sense that training cost would
rise by 13 million a week or over a year 1 billion I am in the airline
biz and i never heard of such an increase this big....

This is a penalty done to try to prevent larger airlines from having an unfair advantage. Remember this is a game, not a real life simulation.

yes but to add an extra fee on this of a billion dollar
is still unrealistic for a sim game

13M a week is not that bad, considering the dimension of your airline.
If you really want to bring the "real life" argument into this simulation, just think that in a real world, you'd have to pay dividends to your shareholders and, therefore, you would never be able to grow so fast as you've grown in this game. Nothing personal against you, think you've done a great job, but it is still a fair game, the rules being the same for everyone, airlines similar to yours will have exactly the same issue.
Good job done there anyway, I think! ;)

That's cheap compared to what I just did in GW3.... http://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,62017.msg357564.html#msg357564
