Staffing Requirements

I've hunted but failed to find this question being asked directly before - apologies as I've almost certainly missed it.

Is there any documentation on how staffing requirements are calculated? For instance; how the number of customer service staff is influenced by the number of routes, maintenance staff by number of planes, corporate communications by the amount of marketing campaigns... etc etc.

I ask because given staffing represents such a huge operational cost in the game, it seems a little crazy that this information wouldn't be available, as how are you able to understand the true costs of opening a new route/buying a new plane for example without it?

This is the sort of information you'd know with reasonable certainty in the real world when considering the economics/point of break even/likely profitability of a decision. Is it available in AWS somewhere and I'm just missing it?

Surely all these "Economics and Finance" people I'm employing should be able to help me out here? :D
