But yes, in AWS they are decent, too :)

True of all "big" medium aircraft. I had some nasty surprises with my A148E... In fact, above 2000NM, you've got to switch to the large category. Under, it's a good plane. Under 1200NM, it's just amazing.

Economics on them in AWS are good as long as you don't fly them too far.

In GW#2 I operate them out of Lagos to Europe (1800-2400NM), with a decent 7-day-schedule (~20hrs utilization) they can make nice profits, despite relatively high leasing rates compared to my A319s (new E190s vs. 18+yr old A319s).

GW2, my longest E190 route is PVR-YVR (1914nm) and they are making decent profits although they'll be better once I buy out the leases.
