Why am I taking A/C rotation delays and cancellations?
« on: June 10, 2015, 03:35:22 AM »
I have a high utilization on my aircraft, but I exceed the minimum turn time on all my flights both in hub and outstation by enough that my chance of delay is ~1% on everything, yet I seem to be taking an disproportionate amount of delays and cancellations due to A/C Rotation.

I've attached my schedule.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

http://www.airwaysim.com/game/Routes/Delay

go check there, and see. 1% delay in turn around is only part of the reason that can trigger a delay, there is weather, strike, world event.. etc

Rotation occupies the top spot on both delays and cancellations. Would a downline delay for another reason such as ATC or Weather upline be shown as an A/C rotation delay then?

You might have 1% on turn around, but looking at that schedule grid, doesn't look like you have long enough times before start of next flight.

All of the turns in hub are the same time as the turns in outstation

Of your avg delay of 7 minutes currently only 26% are scheduling related. Total scheduling delay minutes 1096 on 626 flights.

..nothing alarming really.
