[-] GW 2, order bug, again
« on: June 05, 2015, 05:45:23 PM »
So 788 and 789 launched in GW2, I immediately took (what I thought was) 250 frames. I ordered 50 +50, confirmation screen said $14m and 100 frames, plus full discount on both types, it only gave me 32 788 (costing me a nice chunk of cash in lost discounts). Ordered again, 50 + 50, it gave me 88 total, 43 789 and 50 788. This is a copy of the confirmation text before that purchase:

Payments
This order requires you to commit to the following payments:
Order confirmation: 15 228 833 500 USD
Upon aircraft delivery: 0 USD (total sum)
Terms & Info: The sums above are counted to reflect the status when all aircraft from this order have been delivered. For purchased aircraft you must pre-pay between 20% to 100% of the value of each aircraft upon order confirmation. The rest must be paid upon each aircraft delivery.
Discounts
This order quote includes the following discounts:
Boeing 787-8
Large order discount (20%)
Direct purchase discount (6%)
Boeing 787-9
Large order discount (20%)
Direct purchase discount (6%)
Launch customer for a new model (10%)
You have received a discount of 31.4% from the total value of the order.

(Sorry, on my tablet, couldn't get an actual screen shot)

Went in again and ordered 25 + 25, it gave me 49.

So I have 173 on order instead of 250, which is not that big of a deal, but the lost cash on the lost discount really irks me. Not sure what causes this, but it IS happening and this is the second time it happened in this game world!

Just to add to this, all 3 orders displayed the proper information in the order information screen, 50 + 50, 50 + 50, 25+ 25, so the error happened between the info screen and the confirmation screen.

Still cannot replicate this.

Took a database backup snapshot from the morning of June 5th, game date 2004-03-30. Advanced game date to the launch date of 787 (no other changes), and ordered 50+50 B787s as the launch customer. Order was created in full.

Ok, well, 4 orders in a row now for me in GW2 have had this happen. For the 787 orders, its cost me $500m in lost discounts on the 788 launch and $175m on the 789 launch. I have not had this problem in any other game world, regardless if which device I use to place the order.

Later on, I will place another order for 787's and get a full screen shot, hopefully it shows another truncated order.
