[-] Aircraft lease revenue
« on: April 22, 2015, 09:49:16 PM »
The lease revenue listed on my cashflow statement is 1/3 of the lease revenue listed on my income statement for the month of January, and I can't figure out why this discrepancy is there.

Are any of the leases recent? The prepayment goes on the cash flow statement when it happens but (if I remember correctly) gets spread out over the prepayment period on the income statement.

No, the prepayment period is over for all the leases...

Looks to be just fine. The 7 leased out planes have a total monthly leases of around 7.5mil and this sum is in the same ballpark with figures on income statement.

edit; sorry you talked of cash flow statement. Have to look that separately.

Of the current planes you have leased out the total lease income monthly is 12887300$. However three of these planes are in the prepaid period (you've leased out more planes since I last checked), and the planes with NO prepayments left yield a total income of 7 750 600$/monthly. Feb and March cash flow statement shows lease incomes of 8 800 646 USD & 7 697 044 USD so it's in the correct ballpark.

most likely when you filed the report some of the planes still had some of the prepayments left.
