An Apology

Hi folks, I just got an email that my beloved Soviet Socialist Airways finally died with nearly a billion dollars of debt after weeks of neglect. I wanted to sincerely apologize to my allies and my fans for letting you all down. I had really been looking forward to testing out the Tu-334. I just got really busy with real life while my airline took delivery of literally hundreds of new aircraft that I simply did not have the time to schedule. Meanwhile much of my fleet hit the age limit and I'm told fuel went nuts. I'm amazed it coasted along as long as it did considering that I had 50 leased An-140s for years that never got routes. I checked in a few times and saw I was still profitable in spite of it all but I guess it finally gave out when my Tu-134s literally fell apart from age.

I am deeply disappointed I couldn't stick around to maintain months of careful planning but this was still overall my greatest airline. I had hundreds of planes, all Soviet and survived over 50 years. That was the downfall though as it simply got too big to manage on very limited time. I had several large fleets due for total replacement and never got around to it.

My single greatest accomplishment I must say is flying the Tu-134A profitably for its entire 35 year lifespan. They will always remain my favorite plane in the game. I hope to see you all in the upcoming regional challenge, that's my other area of expertise in addition to Soviet birds.

I did wonder what happened to you! The fuel spike did me in with my T204s but Im probably going to give them another go in a different game world pretty soon.

Sad to see you go  :'(, my IL96's are still doing well btw  ;D, even  with fuel at 1000+ (well the Il96M is, the Il96-300 is much harder to use in this environment, but still possible, dont have the Il-96-400 yet).
