B: fuel on 15 hours a day of flight time = 15h * 320 * $250 average price / 1000 = 1 200 USD / day * 347 days = 416 400 USD
F: fuel on 15 hours a day of flight time = 15h * 350 * $250 average price / 1000 = 1 312 USD / day * 347 days = 455 364 USD

- Fairchild's fuel burn is 9.3% more expensive than the Beechcraft

Remember, fuel burn is per hour, not per distance.  So 15% faster aircraft with 9.3% higher fuel burn is actually more efficient.

 ;D

And hence the reason of yours truly having over 40 Fairchild's and counting.

I just think it's sad many of these little birds are going out of production even before the game world is well under way. I wish there was a way to get production re-started by committing to so and so many frames.

I've tried both, the B1900 do it for me every time but I do not understand why. Odd thing is moving up to Saab340's, the next step, the Saab matches the B1900 timetables pretty well, it's extra bit of speed makes up for the longer turn-around time so I don't have to pay for new slots. A decent set of B1900's are ideal for opening up new bases too, just switching their Schedules to bought in replacement Saab340's.

I know in the game the San Antonio sewer pipe (Metroliner) is probably the better A/c but in real life the Beech is so much nicer to ride on and a better designed A/C. The Metro has a real issue with breaks (caught fire often) and is not as stable in the air.

The 1900 can take a beating and just keep going. Sadly in the real world fuel prices have killed the 19 seat market in many uses in North America (Still going with a few airlines in Canada, Alaska and EAS service in the USA) but they are getting long in the tooth. I hope I get a few more rides on the 1900 in my life.
