CI Question
« on: June 10, 2014, 06:45:49 PM »
I am new to this game and am just looking for some information on CI. I have had a CI of around 83 for about last 4/5 months which has not fluctuated over than a few tenths of a percent. I have changed some prices on some routes (both up and down) and in 4 game days my CI has went up 5 points.

I always thought CI was dependent on the about you spent in marketing alone. Can someone tell me all the factors that affect CI and what are the key things in improving this number.

The CI is also affected by the average age of your aircrafts, the level of delays/cancellation and the morale of some (if not all, I'm not sure) of you employers.

I don't know about routes prices. But I don't think.

Other than marketing spending (increasing CI), the other significant "force" affecting your CI are delays / cancellations (decreasing it).  Is it possible that your delays / cancellations went down recently, due to some scheduling changes or your aircraft that was in bad condition possibly having its condition improved?

punctuality is up about 1% but its still quite low (82%) and cancellations are high at 3.2%. It is now 7 points higher after 5 game days. I have improved the condition of some aircraft but this has not had an effect on canc/delay stats yet. Im not complaining. I'm more than happy having my CI in the 90's  ;D

I wonder if there is some sort of bug there, with the CI.  It shows 84 for me now in various places while my real CI is only 75...

Possibly. Up another 1.5 points in a day.

I never notice before. Also my CI is 63 in some places and 75 in others.

I had something similar; despite increasing marketing spending a while back, my CI remained static for ages and now it's suddenly jumped by 15 since yesterday evening. I'm also not complaining!  :P
